We are currently looking to recruit four enthusiastic and passionate students to our Student Activities Team. The post holders will be responsible for supporting excellent opportunities for students wishing to engage in a range of activities which benefit and enhance our members’ experience. All post holders will be highly-motivated and organised.

The four roles available this year will be:

  • Student Activities Administration Assistant
  • Sustainability Assistant
  • Schools Assistant
  • Volunteering and Fundraising Assistant

When asked about their experience of working at the Guild, our student staff said:

“I loved working in the Guild because it has helped me feel so much more included in my University, and allowed me to get fully involved in so many different aspects of the Guild. The Guild, for me, represents the heart of the student experience, therefore working there has only enhanced my own. Being a member of student staff was fantastic, as it is the only employer that can really understand the demands of university, hence work with you to make sure your education comes first but allowing you a work life balance too. Juggling University life and a job can be difficult so if I could give any advice, it would be to make life easier for yourself and work for an employer that understands this – work for the Guild.”

“My role is one with a lot of varied tasks within a fun and enthusiastic department of the Guild. There is a great deal of scope for working independently and enhancing your own skills in communication, time-management, project-management, and Microsoft Office. I would recommend any position in these teams - they are a great group of people that can make anyone feel welcome from day one."

Please note that all roles are student-staff roles, and we will only accept applications from students at the University of Liverpool.

All Staff will be invited to attend an induction and full training for the role will be given.
